Production faciliteis：We, Enax, develop, manufacture and sell battery production facilities, which make high performance batteries come true. Enax incorporates the most recent technique in battery cells and production facilities, through consultation. Current product line-up is composed of mixers, coaters, rollpress machine, slitters, vacuum dryers, winders, assembly lines, and formation systems. Enax can provide our clients with a whole production line or just a part of production line as well. The picture above indicates an assembly line. Parts & Materials of a battery ：The following items are main parts and materials of batteries that Enax can provide. Al foil, NMP(solvent), Cu foil, separator, electrolyte, steel cans, Al cans, top caps, gaskets, safety vents(patent). The picture shows a cylindrical steel can and a top cap. High yield is expected, when used with our production facilities after our consulting program. Research & Development ：Enax extends its business domain to include research & development of new batteries, which are large scale rechargeable batteries. This research is conducted at Enax research center in Yonezawa-city 300km north of Tokyo. Large scale battery ：In the middle of 1999, Enax succeeded in making prototypes of large scale lithium ion rechargeable batteries, which passes safety tests such as nail penetration test, external short circuit test, high temperature test, and so on. Application of this large scale battery is expected to include electric vehicles, submarines, fuel cell system and etc.
